Stitch and Bitch Sewing Nights / Sewing in Toronto / Beginner Sewing Classes

Over the past three weeks, six amazing ladies have been meeting here at the store's studio for our first ever "Stitch and Bitch" sewing sessions. We met at 8pm and finished up around 10:30 for three weeks.

One week 1, each person was assigned to a sewing machine and we learned about threading the machines, threading the bobbin, and sewing straight lines ( straight-ish :-) ). We moved onto designing a tote bag and drafting a paper pattern on week two as well as some more practices on the sewing machines. Then on our final week all the hard work paid off as the individual tote bags came to life. It was so much fun, lots of laughs, lots of new things learned, and new friends have been made.
