Donations Towards Making Masks For Frontline Workers
I, Sinéad have joined the many other sewers around the world in an effort to make masks for frontline workers in my community. I am working at my studio every day, sewing as many masks as possible and donating them to local hospitals, care centres, homes for the elderly and anyone who reaches out in need. I have purchased fabrics and supplies from a local store as well as using equipment form my own studio to make these masks. I will continue to make as many as I can during the time our store remains closed and as long as they are necessary. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent words of encouragement and support. You can follow along on social media to see behind the scenes pictures from the sewing studio, the finished masks and the people who receive them.
To keep this project going, we are accepting donations to put towards fabrics and supplies to make these masks and distribute them to the particular centres that have been reaching out to us. You can do so through this website. Some centres require us to ship them if they out of city and others can be collected at our front door. We are so happy with any donation and help make a different to those frontline workers that need these masks. Every little helps and thank you so much.
When you get to the checkout, there is an option to pay by credit card or e-transfer. We would prefer e-transfer if possible as this way all the donations go towards the fabrics and we won't incur transaction charges. Thank you.
