Refund policy

Christmas / Holiday Shopping:

Last day for exchanges:
January 31st with a valid receipt / gift receipt or order number. 
We are aware that many of our customers begin their holiday shopping in good time, meaning it is very difficult to make an exchange within our usual 14 day exchange period. With that in mind, any purchases made at the store or online during the months of November and December will quality for our extended exchange terms but you must notify us at the time of purchase. A unique "gift receipt" card will be presented to you in-store which allows either you or the recipient of the item(s) to make an exchange or receive store credit provided all tags are in-tact and the item)s) is in perfect saleable condition. Exchanges can be made until January 31st. Please note that the store closes on Mondays in January so if the 31st falls on Monday, the last day for exchanges will be the previous business day. 

If you are not in a position to return the item(s) to us in person within the allocated time period, you may ship the item(s) to us at the below address with prior written confirmation at your own expenses. An electronic gift card which can later be used in-store or online, will be issued once the package has been received and examined.

EXCHANGES:
At the Irish Design House we have a 14-Day exchange policy (exclusions apply, see below) on the item(s) purchased at our store, whether it was an in-store or online purchase. You may exchange your original item(s) for any other item(s), or you may exchange for a gift card to the value of your purchase. This gift card has no expiration, it is linked to the original purchaser and is also valid both in-store and online. It will be sent electronically to you and will be recorded on your customer profile for safe keeping. 

 

REFUNDS:
At the Irish Design House, our top priority is to provide handmade item(s) of impeccable quality. If your purchase is damaged in any way or seen unfit for purpose, we will provide a refund to the original payment method within 14 days of the original transaction. A valid receipt must be provided, or proof of purchase*. We encourage all customers to leave their name and/or email with us when making an in-store purchase as this allows us to validate purchases in the event a receipt may not be available. Please report any damages, flaws and faults as soon as soon as possible after purchase.

Exclusions:
Items purchased at a discounted or sale price are final sale and cannot be exchanged or refunded for any reason - no exceptions will be made. 
Earrings are also exempt from exchanges and refunds for hygiene reasons.
